Version 1.0 — Effective July 29, 2026
This Code of Conduct applies to every Tutor on Preppinbee. It exists because most of our Students are minors. By registering as a Tutor, you agree to follow these standards. Violations may result in immediate removal from the platform. Where we believe a Student has been harmed or is at risk, we report to law enforcement and to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
You must be at least 18 years old to tutor on Preppinbee. You must complete identity verification and be approved by Preppinbee before you may appear in search results, contact Students, or hold sessions. Payment of subscription fees does not grant approval.
You will not permit any other person to use your account or conduct sessions on your behalf.
All communication with Students must take place through Preppinbee-provided tools.
You will not:
If a Student attempts to contact you outside the platform, do not respond and report it to safety@preppinbee.com.
You will not arrange or conduct in-person meetings with a Student. All sessions are conducted online through the platform.
You will not conduct sessions from a private or inappropriate setting, including bedrooms, bathrooms, or vehicles. Dress and present yourself as you would in a classroom.
Where Preppinbee requires group format, you will not convert a session to one-on-one.
You will maintain a professional, instructional relationship with every Student.
You will not:
There are no exceptions to this section, including where a Student initiates.
Sessions may be recorded for safety and quality purposes. You consent to recording as a condition of tutoring on Preppinbee.
You will not separately record, screenshot, or capture any session or Student without Preppinbee’s written permission.
You will use Student information only to deliver the tutoring the Student has requested.
You will not share, publish, or discuss a Student’s identity, academic performance, personal circumstances, or session content with anyone outside Preppinbee, except where required by law or where a Student’s safety is at risk.
You will not use Student information for marketing, recruitment to other platforms, or any commercial purpose unrelated to your tutoring.
You will not request or accept payment from a Student or their parent or guardian outside the platform.
Materials you provide to Students must be appropriate for a minor audience and must be your own work or content you have the right to use.
Your profile, intro video, and all uploaded materials must be accurate and must not contain personal contact information, links to outside platforms, or content unrelated to tutoring.
You will accurately represent your education, test scores, experience, and credentials. Misrepresentation is grounds for immediate removal.
You will not complete assignments, tests, essays, or applications on a Student’s behalf, or assist a Student in cheating on any exam or academic requirement.
If you believe a Student is being harmed, is at risk of harm, or is in crisis — including any disclosure involving abuse, self-harm, or threats of violence — contact safety@preppinbee.com immediately. Do not attempt to handle it privately.
If you become aware of another Tutor violating this Code, report it.
Preppinbee may suspend or remove any Tutor for violating this Code, with or without notice, at its discretion. Removal for conduct reasons is permanent, and you may not register a new account.
Preppinbee may review recorded sessions, profiles, and platform communications in connection with a report or a routine quality review.
Preppinbee may update this Code. Continued use of the platform after an updated version takes effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes will require renewed acknowledgment.
