The Preppinbee community is a set of discussion spaces where students ask questions, share strategies, and form study groups — with tutors participating alongside them. It is the part of Preppinbee where preparation stops being solitary and starts being something you do with other people.
The people in it are students preparing for the SAT and ACT, parents supporting them through the process, and Preppinbee tutors who teach these tests professionally.
What makes it different from studying on your own is that tutors are in the room. On most free platforms you study alone; on paid platforms, access to someone who teaches the test costs money. Here a student can post a question and have someone who teaches the Digital SAT for a living answer it, free. The community is free to join, like the rest of the platform — no cost, no credit card, no paywall.
Who’s in the community
Three groups share the space: students asking questions and sharing what worked for them, parents learning what the test involves and how to support their child, and Preppinbee tutors who answer questions in the open rather than only in paid sessions.
What you can do here
Ask about a specific problem
Post a question about a problem you cannot solve or an answer you do not understand — for example, why the answer is A and not C on a particular question type. Other students and tutors can explain what you are missing, and the explanation stays visible for anyone who runs into the same question later.
Compare notes after a test date
After a real test, students discuss which section hit hardest, what felt different from practice, and how the adaptive modules compared. It helps to know you were not the only one who found it tough.
Find or start a study group
Join a group of students working through a specific area together — for example, a group focused on SAT Grammar concepts — or start one of your own. Studying alongside others keeps you accountable.
Ask about strategy and scoring
If you are sitting at one score and need to reach another, ask where to focus. Other students who have made the same jump and tutors who have guided students through it can point you to what moves the needle.
Get tutor input
Tutors answer questions in the open, not just in paid sessions. A question you post can be answered by someone who teaches this material professionally, at no cost to you. That changes what a free community space is worth — instead of guessing alongside other students, you can get an explanation from someone who has taught the concept to dozens of people and knows exactly where the confusion usually sits.
Suggest features and resources
The platform is built with the people using it. If you want a feature, a question type, or a resource that does not exist yet, you can suggest it and other students and the team can weigh in.
The person answering might teach this for a living
Preppinbee tutors participate in the community alongside students. A question posted in the open can be answered by someone who teaches the Digital SAT or ACT professionally, at no cost.

Spaces
The community is organised into spaces — discussion areas focused on a specific topic, exam section, or interest. You can join any space that is relevant to your preparation and participate in the conversations there.
You can also create your own space. If you want a study group for a specific test date, a space dedicated to SAT Math, or a discussion area for parents, you can set it up and invite others to join.
For parents
Parents are welcome in the community and are present in it. Many use it to understand what their child is facing, what the test actually involves, and what preparation looks like in practice.
Community spaces are covered by Preppinbee’s acceptable use rules, which prohibit harassment, bullying and abusive or objectionable content.
