Preppinbee's live sessions are tutor-led, focused on one specific topic at a time, and designed to cover it properly rather than skim through a general overview. Each session picks a single concept — a math skill, a grammar rule, a reading strategy — and teaches it in enough depth that you leave knowing how to apply it on test day.

The sessions are built for students preparing for the Digital SAT or ACT, and for parents who want to understand what their child is working through. Whether you are just starting your prep or reviewing specific weak spots, the format is designed to be useful at any stage. If you want recurring, multi-week instruction instead, Preppinbee also offers ongoing structured classes with tutors.

Every session is genuinely free — no trial, no upsell, no credit card. The tutors teach focused, practical topics in a way that helps you gain points, not just fill an hour. Between sessions, the community is a place to ask questions and keep practising with other students.

Why we ask you to create a free account

The account is free, takes seconds to set up, and does not require a credit card. It exists so we can send you the session link, remind you before it starts, and keep a record of what you have attended. It is not a paywall — there is nothing to pay, now or later.

What the sessions cover

Sessions are built around specific, high-value topics rather than general overviews. Here are some of the areas we focus on.
SAT

Advanced Math — quadratics, exponentials & nonlinear functions

Roughly a third of the Digital SAT Math section is built on advanced math concepts, and nonlinear functions are where many students lose points they could otherwise keep. Quadratics alone appear in multiple forms — standard, vertex, factored — and recognising which form to use and when is the difference between solving a problem in thirty seconds and stalling out entirely. These sessions work through the specific problem shapes the test uses, so you know what to look for and how to move through it quickly.

Tutorial

Desmos for SAT Math — using the built-in graphing calculator

The Digital SAT gives every student access to a built-in Desmos graphing calculator, but most barely scratch what it can do. You can solve systems of equations visually, find intercepts by clicking on them, and check your algebra in real time — skills that save significant time on the harder questions. These sessions show you exactly how to use Desmos on the types of problems that appear on the test, turning a tool most students ignore into one of their biggest advantages.

SAT

Punctuation, Decoded — commas, semicolons, colons & dashes

Punctuation questions are among the most predictable points available on the SAT Reading & Writing section. The rules are finite and testable — commas after introductory phrases, semicolons between independent clauses, colons before lists or explanations, dashes to set off parenthetical information. Once you know the small set of rules the test actually checks, these questions become reliable points rather than guesswork. These sessions break down each rule with real test-style examples so you can spot and answer them confidently.

Sessions also cover reading comprehension strategy, grammar concepts beyond punctuation, test-day pacing and approach, and ACT-specific topics. New sessions are announced as they are scheduled.

What you get by attending

A specific, practical topic taught by someone who teaches it regularly

Each session is led by a tutor who knows the topic inside out and has taught it to real students preparing for the SAT and ACT. The focus is on what will actually help you gain points, not on covering material for the sake of it.

The ability to ask questions live

These are live sessions, not recordings. You can ask questions during the session and get real answers from the tutor in real time.

Material that connects to the practice tests on the platform

What you learn in a session applies directly to the free practice tests available on Preppinbee. You can take what you learned and immediately test yourself on it, which is where the learning actually sticks. The full free SAT prep toolkit — questions, AI tutor, study plan — is there to support you between sessions.

No cost and no upsell at the end

The sessions are free and they stay free. There is no pitch at the end, no premium tier to unlock, and no surprise paywall. You attend, you learn, you leave.
